    NOTE: Carburetor adjustments should be made only after the engine has warmed up. The engines on Cub Cadet 1515 & 1517 are equipped with a Walbro fixed main jet carburetor. Walbro carburetors have a low idle speed screw and a low idle fuel adjusting needle.

  • Page 22 Air Filter The engine is equipped with a replaceable, high density Air Cleaner Cover paper air cleaner element and an oiled, foam precleaner which surrounds the paper element. See Figure 21. Always examine the air cleaner before starting the engine. Check for a buildup of dirt and debris around the air cleaner system.
