INSTALL MOWER AND DRIVE BELT • Place the R.H. suspension arm on outward pointing deck pin. If necessary, rock and raise front of mower (See Figs. 4 and 7) to align deck pin with the hole in suspension arm. Retain with double loop retainer spring with toops down Be sure tractor is on level surface and mower suspension as shown.

iNSTALL MULCHER PLATE (See Figs. 5 and 6) DEFLECTOR SHIELD Install two latch hooks to mulcher plate using screw, washer, lock washer, and weld nut as shown. NOTE: Pre-assemble weld nut to latch hook by inserting weld nut from the top with hook pointing down. Tighten hardware securely.

OPERATION The operation of any tractor can result in foreign objects thrown into the eyes, which can result in severe eye damage. Always wear safety glasses or eye shields while operating your tractor or performing any adjustments or repairs, We recommend a wide vision safety mask over the spectacles or standard safety gtasses.
OPERATION TO TRANSPORT (See Fig. 11) When pushing or towing yourtractor, be sure to disengage MOUNT, transmission by placing freewheel control in freewheeling position. Free wheel control is located at the rear drawbar of tractor. Raise attachment lift to highest position with attach- ment lift control.
