If you press ûPLAY on the remote control (DVD player:
Remote control: ûPLAY) while a still image is displayed (STILL/
PAUSE), normal playback resumes.

Press â STILL/PAUSE (DVD player:
STILL/PAUSE) in the still picture mode.
The disc is advanced by one frame each time the button is
pressed.
To Return to the Normal Play

mode.

On some discs, the slow-motion playback functions are disabled.
To Return to the Still Picture Mode

Resume Function

When you have stopped a disc during playback, the Resume
function allows you to go back and start playing the disc at a point
just prior to the scene in which it was stopped.
This function cannot be used for video CDs or audio CDs, and will not
operate on some DVD discs.

RESUME button on the remote control. Playback restarts from
just prior to the point where it was stopped.
