No Disc Indicator

A NO DISC appears when the tray is closed and:
1) There is no disc in the tray.

Disc Error Indicator

A disc error appears when the tray is closed and:
1) The disc type is not DVD, VCD or CD.
2) The disc is not loaded correctly (upside-down, etc.)

Region (Locale) Number Error Indicator

If you play a DVD disc and the region (locale) number of the player differs from the region number of the disc
(see page 6), the symbol appears on the TV screen and playback stops. (The disc cannot be played.)

Parental Level Error Indicator

When you play a DVD disc, if the parental level set for the player does not match the parental level of the disc,
the symbol appears on the TV screen and playback stops. (The disc cannot be played.)
