Mac OS X users:
1. Start up your computer, and log in using a user account that has administrative
privileges.
To see whether you have administrative privileges, check the "Users (Accounts)" item
NOTE
in "System Preference."
2. Insert the included CD-ROM into your CD-ROM drive.
The CD-ROM icon appears on the desktop.
3. Double-click the CD-ROM icon to open it. Then open the "Mac OS X" folder
and double-click the "YAMAHA USB-MIDI V1.**.mpkg" icon located within it.
(** indicates the version number.)
The "Authenticate" window opens, asking you to enter the password.
If you are not asked for a password, click the

4. Enter the password for the user with administrative rights. If no password has
been specified, simply click [OK].
5. The screen indicates "Welcome to the YAMAHA USB MIDI Driver Installer." Click
[Continue].
