[] Protecting images
Protecting the image prevents it from being erased accidentally.
Semect [Protect images].
® Under the [_'] tab, select [Protect
images], then press <_>.
_y,, T he protect setting screen will
appear.

Semect the image and protect it.
® Press the <_> key to select the
image to be protected, then press
<_E_>
_y,, W hen an image is protected, the
<D> icon will appear on the screen.
® To cancel the image protection, press
<_> again. The <D> icon will
disappear.
® To protect another image, repeat step
2.
® To exit the image protection, press
the <MENU> button. The menu will
reappear.
If fou format the card (p.40), the protected images will atso be erased.
Once an image is protected, it cannot be erasea by me camera's erase
function. To erase a prozectedimage, you must firs[ canbeJme
srotection
if >Jou erase all [he _mages(p. 130), only the protected images will
remain. This is convenient when you want to erase unnecessary images
all at once.
