Procedure
This procedure uses the GUI.
1.
In the navigation pane, select Virtual Disks.
2.
On the List tab, select the virtual disk to replicate using snapclone replication.
3.
Select Actions > New Snapclone. The New Snapclone wizard opens.
4.
Follow the instructions in the wizard.
5.
The Monitor Job window opens. An implicit job is begun to execute the action. See jobs

6.
After the implicit job completes, refresh the content pane to display the most current resources.

Procedure
The following procedure uses the GUI.
1.
In the navigation pane, select Virtual Disks.
2.
On the List tab, select the virtual disk to replicate using the preallocated snapshot method.
3.
Select Actions > Snapshot-Preallocated. The New Preallocated Snapshot window opens. Follow
the instruction in the window.
