COOL MODE
RemoteControl
1. PressCOOLpad.
2.Press LOW, t 4EDor HIGHpadsto set desiredfan
speed.
3. Pressthe INCREASE + / DECREASE- pads to set
the desired temperature 60°Fto 85°F in I°F
increments.
ControlPanel
1.Press the t4OOE pad untilthe COOL indicatorlightis lit
and the LOW,t4EDor HIGHindicatorlightislit for the
desiredfan speed.
2. Pressthe INCREASE + / DECREASE - pads to set the
desired temperature 60°F to 85°F in I°F increments.
A thermostatisusedto maintainthe roomtemperature.
Thecompressor willcycleon and off to keepthe room
at the set levelof comfort.Setthe thermostatat a lower
numberand the indoorair willbecomecooler.
Setthe thermostatat a highernumberandthe indoorair
will becomewarmer.
NOTE: If theair conditioner isoff ond isthenturnedon
whilesetto COOL, it will takeapproximately 3 minutes
for thecompressor t o startand coolingto begin.
CoolingDescriptions
For Normal Cooling-Selectthe COOL modeand HIGH
or triEDfan with a middleset temperature.
For MaximumCooling-Selectthe COOL mode
and HIGHfan with a lowerset temperature.
For Quieterand Nighttime Cooling-Selectthe COOL
modeand LOWfan with a middleset temperature.
NOTE: If you switch from a COOL setting to OFFor to
a fan setting, wait at least 3 minutesbeforeswitching
back to a COOL setting.
FAN MODE
Usethe FANmodeto provideair circulationand filtering
without cooling. S incefan-only settingsdo not provide
cooling,a temperaturesettingwill not bedisplayed.
