Wire the radar system
Always install a separate circuit breaker or separate fuse for the radar system circuit.
3.1
Wiring guidelines
Most installation problems are caused by shortcuts taken with system cables. When wiring the radar:
DON'T make sharp bends in the cables.
DON'T run cables in a way that allows water to flow down into the connectors.
but
DO make drip and service loops.
DO use cable ties to keep the cables tidy and secure.
DO seal and protect all wiring connections if cables are shortened, lengthened, or re-
terminated.
DO leave room to easily access, install and remove cables.
3.2
Connect the 6 kW interconnection cable (NS003104) to the
scanner
1. Unscrew and then lift up the hinged cover of the scanner.
2. Identify the connector ends B, C, D, E, and F on the 6 kW interconnection cable (NS003104). Connector end F is
an Earthing strap.
3. Refer to the figure below. Push the cable gland (D), a washer (B), the gasket (C) and another washer (B) over
the connectors of the interconnection cable in the order shown.
