Go to To Settings > Network & internet > SIM 1 > Roaming Mode to enable data
roaming, set your preferred network type, check the network connection you are
using or create a new access point, etc.

functions.
To rename or secure your mobile hotspot
When your mobile hotspot is activated, you can rename your phone's Wi-Fi network
(SSID) and secure its Wi-Fi network.
• Touch Settings > Connections > Hotspot & tethering > Mobile hotspot.
• Touch Hotspot name to rename the network SSID or set your network security.
• Touch OK.
The functions above may incur additional network charges from your
network operator. Extra fees may also be charged in roaming areas.

You can try entering Recovery Mode to fix your TCL 505 if it is stuck on the opening screen and won't unlock. Follow these steps:

1. Press and hold the Power button to turn off the phone.
2. Wait for 5-7 seconds after shutdown.
3. Press and hold the Volume Up and Power buttons together until you see the TCL logo.
4. Release both buttons when the Recovery Menu appears.
5. Use the Volume buttons to navigate and select Wipe data/factory reset (this will erase all data).
6. Press the Power button to confirm.
7. Select Yes to proceed with the reset.
8. Once completed, select Reboot system now.

Your phone should restart and allow you to set it up again.
