Changing Shooting Functions
Turning off the Red-Eye Reduction Function
The red-eye reduction lamp lights in order to reduce the red-eye effect that
occurs when shooting in dark conditions with the flash. You can turn off this
function.
Select [Flash Settings], then press the
@
button.
Press the .....

buttons to select [Red-Eye
Lamp], then press the
~ ~
buttons to
select [Off].
Changing the Image Display Right After Shooting
You can change the image display that appears after shooting.

Select [Review Info], then press the

Detailed Displays detailed information (p. 45).
The area inside the AF frame is
Focus
magnified, allowing you to check the
Check
focus. The procedure is the same as
in "Checking the Focus" (p. 108).

Displaying the Overlay
You can display gridlines for vertical and horizontal guidance, or a 3:2 guide
to confirm the printable area for L size or postcard size prints.

Grid Lines A grid overlays the display.
The
areas outside the
3:2
range are
3:2 Guide grayed out. This area will not print
when printing on paper with a 3:2
aspect ratio.
Both grid lines, and the 3:2 guide
will display.
