Select an input source
other than TAPE 1.
@ Put the cassette
deck in record-

pause mode.
@ When recording is made on a KENWOOD cassette deck which is
connected through system contro! cords, the input selector setting
is fixed to protect the recording status. In this case, if you want to
change the recorded source, first stop recording.
@ Play the source and start recording.

@ For copying a tape using a double cassette deck, read the instruc-
tion manual of the double cassette deck.
Regarding TAPE 2 (MONITOR)
A cassette deck or graphic equalizer can be connected to this unit's TAPE 2 (MONITOR} terminals. If you connect a graphic equalizer, turn the
TAPE
2 (MONITOR)
key ON. [f you connect a 3-head cassette deck, you can monitor the source sound, or the sound being recorded, while
recording. Pressing the TAPE 2 [MONITOR} key lets you compare the recorded sound and the source sound. Refer to the operating manual for the
component you connected for further details.
