Flash with Other Modes
When you want to control both
the sync speed and the aper¬
ture, use manual exposure. Set
the desired aperture and shutter
speed. The TTL autoflash con¬
trol system regulates the flash
output according to the aperture
you set for optimum flash expo¬
sure.
Set the camera to
M
(Manual)
and
set the
desired aperture and sync
speed anywhere from 30
sec. up to the camera max¬
imum sync speed.
Press the shutter button
halfway to focus on the
subject.
Check that ^ is displayed
in the viewfinder. Then,
press the shutter button
completely to take the pic¬
ture.
Use of the buLb setting for the sync speed is applicable for flash photog¬
raphy with manual exposure
