Selecting an effect for image
files in the slide show
(JPEG only)
When you play a JPEG image file you can
select the effect to be used when viewing the
slide show.

Press _ DISPLAY twice.
The (ontrol Menu for JPEG appears.

Press ,P/,I,to select [EFFECT],
then press ENTER.
The options for [EFFECT] appear.
(Asian, Australian, and Saudi Arabian
models only)

Press ,t./4, to select the setting you
want.
The defauh setting is underlined.
_: The image sweeps in from top
to bottom.
[MODE21: The image stretches out from
left to right of the screen.
[MODE31: The image stretches out from
the center of the screen.
[MODE4]: The images randomly cycle
through the effects.
[MODE5]: The next image slides over the
previous image.
• [OFF]: Turns offthis function.
Press ENTER.
The selected setting takes effect.

DivX ® is a video file compression technology,
developed by DivXNetworks, Inc. This product
is an official DivX ® Certified product.
You can play DATA CDs and DATA DVDs that
contain Dix'X ® video files.
DATA CDs and DATA DVDs that
the system can play
Playback of DATA CDs (( D-ROMsiCD-Rs
CD-RWs) and DATA DVDs (DVD-RsiDVD-
RWsiDVD+RsiDVD+RWs) on this system is
subject to certain conditions:
With DATA CDs that contain DivX video
files in addition to MP3 audio tracks or JPEG
image files, the system plays only the Dix'X
video files.
With DATA DVDs, the system plays DivX
video files only. Any data other th,'m DivX
video file, such as MP3 audio tracks and
JPEG image files, are not played.
However, this system only plays DATA CDs
whose logical format is ISO 9660 Level l/Level
2 or Joliet, and DATA DVDs of Universal Disk
Fomlat (UDF).
