GPS Antenna

© Keep paint and wax away from the GPS antenna as these
may alee its sensitivity.
© Snow also affects antenna sensitivity and should be
cleared away.
. Betore taking your vehicle through a car washer, make
'sure to remove the GPS antenna.
* Do not pull on the cord to remove the antenna.
Otherwise you might disconnect the cord or soratch the
vehicle surface,
© Wipe the installation surtace clean before attaching the
antenna,

lead the antenna cord inside the vehicle.
1 Secure the cord with clampers up to the
point where it enters the vehicle.
2 Lead the cord through the rubber seal and
fix the rubber seal with adhesive at the
point where the weatherstrip meets the
trunk lid.
3 Lead the cord inside the vehicle and
secure it to the body with clampers.
Installation inside the Vehicle
(Dashboard or Rear Tray)
(Recommended)
Install the antenna in horizontal position on the
dashboard or in the center of the rear tray near
the rear window.
© Install the antenna at least 20 cm (recommended
clearance) away from the monitor and other electronic
cameenAie as these may reduce the reception sensi
vity.
© Do not bend, cut or otherwise modify the metal brack-
et (L-shaped),
¢ The metal bracket is supplied exclusively for installa~
tion inside the vehicle. Do not use it for roof installa-
tion.

* The antenna is less sensitive when installed inside
the vehicle. At times when GPS satellite signals are
weak, this may result in a vehicle positioning error.

proper signal reception.

© If the reception sensitivity is not satisfactory with the
antenna installed inside the vehicle, install it on the
roof.
