Route Search

This is how you specify your destination by entering a street name, city
name or postal code.
Entering a Destination by Street Name
Select [Address] by moving the joystick, and press
7 Press DEST to open the [Select Destination] menu.
ENTER.
2 Select [Street], and press ENTER
Enter the name of the street closest to your destination (™» page
23), and Select END.
* Shortest Time:
The route to reach the destination in the shortest time will
be searched for.
° Avoid Motorway:
Exclude motorways from route search.
« Map:
The vicinal area of the selected street directly from map display.
4 Select any of the following routing methods:
(When you select [Map], a map of the vicinity of the selected street is dis-
played. Use the crosshairs cursor to select your destination.)
* Select [Marked Point] on the list if you want to register the point you have
just searched for.
Press ENTER.
5 ™ Route search starts.
