etc.), press the stop (IM) button before pressing this button.
NOTE:
If the power is turned off while the tape is moving, the cassette
door may remain locked. In this case, turn the power on before
pressing the eject (&) button.

THE POWER SWITCH IS SECONDARY CONNECTED AND
THEREFORE DOES NOT SEPARATE THE UNIT FROM MAINS
POWER IN STANDBY POSITION.

When the POWER switch is left ON . , the unit's power is con-
trolled by the connected amplifier's System Remote Control
function. Press the power button on the remote contro! unit to
turn the power on and off.
