Individuals involved in operating or able to manage the air conditioning cycle should hold a
valid qualification issued by an industrial certification assessment body, which has the
authority to certify skills.
•
The ability to operate air conditioners safely according to instructions approved by industry
authorities
•
Maintenance and repairs requiring the assistance of qualified technicians must be carried
out under the supervision of technicians skilled in the use of flammable air conditioners.
•
Repairs can only be carried out according to the manufacturer's recommendations.
2-2. Working
•
Safety checks must be carried out before starting to operate flammable air conditioning
filling systems to ensure that the risk of flammability is minimized, and then precautions 2-2
to 2-8 should be followed when repairing the refrigeration system before operating the
system.
•
Work should be carried out in a well-controlled manner to minimize the risk of combustible
gases or vapors during operation.
•
All maintenance personnel and others working nearby must be aware of the work being
done.
•
You shouldn't work in tight Spaces.
•
The area around the work area should be separated.
•
Ensure safe working conditions in the area by controlling flammable materials.
2-3. Checking if there is air conditioner

Before and during operation, the area should be checked with a suitable air conditioning

Workers who use refrigeration systems for plumbing work or add air conditioning should not
use any fire source that could cause a fire or explosion.

All sources of combustible fire, including smoking, should be kept away from where
equipment is being installed, serviced, moved or handled, during which time air vapors may
be discharged into the surrounding area.
•
Before working, check the area around the equipment to ensure that there is no risk of
flammable or flammable hazards. Combustible materials should be labeled "No smoking".
2-6. Ventilated area

Make sure the area is open or well ventilated before entering the system or doing any high
heat work.
