Installation Column Wall Mounting The Orthoralix 8500 is designed to mount to a wall or free-standing on the optional base plate. The wall mounted option is described below. NOTE: Verifying the wall support capability is the responsibility of the installer, refer to Pre-Installation on page 1-1.

Adjust the eight (8) leveling legs to level the device. Leveling legs are equipped with through- holes to permanently secure them to the floor, if desired.

CAUTION When mounting Patient Positioning Mirror, apply pressure at the corners only. Pressing the center of the mirror may cause the mirror to break. Installation Electrical Power Connection The device is factory set to 230V AC but can easily be changed to 120V AC. The device can be hard wired for either 230V AC or 120V AC using suitable materials in accordance to local electrical codes.
Orthoralix 8500 DDE Installation Manual 120V AC Power Cord Installation 1. To reconfigure the system, move the 120V AC power plug jumper from the 230V position to the 120V position. 2. A red tag on the jumper wire illustrates the configurations. Route the power cord through strain relief.
Installation CCD Sensor Installation 1. Remove inner sensor cover (if mounted) by first removing mounting hardware (2 screws). 2. Pull cover to pop from the two retaining clips located inside. CAUTION Use extreme care when removing outer sensor cover. Ribbon cable may be damaged if cover is not removed properly.
