    In TA514-SAFETY, functional safety related diagnostic functions of the Safety PLC can be experienced as well as the main safety function of AC500-S Safety PLC e.g. to read safety digital and analog inputs and to control the safety digital outputs according to a user-defined IEC 61131 application program and con- figuration.

    — 9. Environmentally friendly disposal All AC500/AC500-S components from ABB are designed with a minimal environment pollution effect. To enable environmentally friendly disposal of TA514-SAFETY components, they can be partially disassem- bled to separate various components from each other. Disposal of those materials shall be done in ac- cordance with applicable national and international laws.
