Instructions
Note: In Figure 1 above, A is the chain-drive hex
shaft service kit and B is the clutch-drive hex shaft
service kit.
1. Disassemble the traction drive assembly.
Note: Refer to service manual 492-9138.

2. Remove the rubber friction wheel from the
old hex shaft assembly (if you are using it with
the kit).
3. Mount the rubber friction wheel on the new
hex trunnion using the hardware from the old
assembly, ensuring that the rubber wheel is
oriented over the trunnion.
