Parameter setting

You can use various parameters to define the properties of the technology module.
Depending on the settings, not all parameters are available. When parameters are assigned in
the user program, the parameters are transferred to the module with the "WRREC" instruction
and data record 128 (Page 52).
You have the following options for setting the module's parameters:

Hardware configuration in STEP 7
(TIA Portal)
Hardware configuration using GSD
file for distributed operation on the
PROFINET IO
Hardware configuration using GSD
file for distributed operation on the
PROFIBUS DP
You will find the parameters in the following table.

Basic procedure
1. Insert the module from the hardware catalog under "Technology modules".
2. Set the device configuration and the parameters of the module in the hardware
configuration.
3. Set the parameters of the technology object.
4. Download the project to the CPU.
