Installing the Camera Dedicated wrench Remove the top cover. If using a memory card, insert at this time. To remove the memory card, push it in all the way until the card slightly pops out and remove. In this document, memory cards that can be used with the camera is referred to as “memory card”.

Installing the Camera Anchor or structure Safety wire M4 (1) Firmly attach the safety wire to the anchor or structure. After attaching the safety wire to the ceiling, secure it to the camera side and fasten the included screw.

Installing the Camera Secure the camera to the installation location. Be sure to prepare mounting screws separately. (Nominal diameter: M4, Head Shape: pan, x 2) Install the top cover. Tighten the screws to ensure waterproofness.

Installing the Camera Notes on Outdoor Installation • Wrap insulating tape around each cable connection to insulate. • The camera body complies with dust-resistant/waterproof specification (IP66), however, the cables connecting to external devices are not. When installing in a place where it may be exposed to even a small amount of water, wrap waterproofing tape (included) around the entire cable joint and the end of the insulated and unused cable to ensure waterproofing.

Installing the Camera Important • Wrap the tape so that there are no gaps in the tape, and that the tape has not peeled off or ripped. • Take care not to depress the tab on the LAN cable, when wrapping the connection.
