Installing a hard drive

The drives are mounted in drive carriers.
To install a hard drive to the hard drive carrier:

Remove the screws securing the dummy drive to the carrier.
Remove the dummy drive from the carrier.
Install a new drive into the carrier with the printed circuit board side facing down so that
the mounting holes align with those in the carrier.
Secure the hard drive by tightening all 6 screws.

Replace the drive carrier into the chassis bay. Make sure that the drive carrier handle is
completely closed.
