General problems with the washer-dryer

Issue
The display is dark.
The washer-dryer is not
steady during a spin
cycle.
Unusual pumping
noises.
Spinning sounds during
the drying process.
The laundry has not
been spun properly and
the laundry is still wet.
Large amounts of
detergent residue
remain in the detergent
drawer.
Cause and remedy
The display has switched off automatically to save
energy (Standby mode).
 Press a button. Standby comes to an end.
The machine feet are not level.
 Level the washer-dryer and secure the feet.
This is not a fault. These slurping noises occur at
the end of the pump sequence as a normal part of
operation.
This is not a fault. The machine will spin, even
during a drying programme (thermospin).
The machine detected an imbalance during the final
spin cycle and reduced the spin speed automatically.
 Include both large and small items in the load as
this will give better distribution during spinning.
The water flow pressure is too low.
 Clean the filters in the water inlet.
 Select Water plus.
Powder detergent used in conjunction with water
softeners tends to become sticky.
 Clean the detergent drawer and, in the future, add
washing powder in the compartment first, and
then add the water softener.
