To install battery pack: Insert battery pack (G) into battery housing
(F) as shown in Figure 4 until fully seated and an audible click is heard.
Make sure battery pack is fully seated and fully latched into position.
To remove battery pack: Depress the battery release button (H) in
the top of the battery housing and pull battery pack out of appliance
as shown in Figure 5.

Fuel Gauge Battery Packs (Fig. 6)
Some D
WALT battery packs include a fuel gauge which consists of
e
three green LED lights that indicate the level of charge remaining in the
battery pack.
To actuate the fuel gauge, press and
hold the fuel gauge button (6A). A
combination of the three green LED
lights will illuminate designating the
level of charge left. When the level of
charge in the battery is below the
usable limit, the fuel gauge will not
illuminate and the battery will need to
be recharged.
NOTE: The fuel gauge is only an indication of the charge left on the battery
pack. It does not indicate tool functionality and is subject to variation
based on product components, temperature and end-user application.

To turn the blower on, ensure the lock-off switch (C) is in the unlocked
position and depress the trigger switch (A).
To lock the blower on, pull back on the speed lock lever (B), as shown
in figure 7. The blower runs at higher speeds as the lever is moved
further. The speed lock lever can also be pulled back to start the
blower without needing to first depress the trigger switch.
• Hold the sweeper with one hand as shown in figure 8 and sweep
from side to side with the tube (E) several inches above the hard
surface. Slowly advance keeping the accumulated pile of debris in
front of you.
