3-3 Workgroup Server and ASP
If this Workgroup server is to be used in an ASP (Application Service Provider) environment,
configure Centricity RA600 Workgroup Server according to the ASP workflow environment.
3-4 Put Workgroup Server Machine Name in Client Hosts File
The clients require an entry for their server in the client machine hosts file
(
C:\WINNT\system32\drivers\etc\hosts)
This is mandatory if the client and the server are not on the same network or subnet. This also
allows easier switching to a back-up server. The hosts file can be edited to temporarily change the IP
address for the server to the IP for the back-up server.
