 Snare and Tom
Strike different sections of the pad in the same way you would play an acoustic snare drum or tom.
With the snare pad (the pad with position sensor connected to the qSNARE jack), you can create natural tonal changes
according to the location within the Zone.

Strike the main surface of the pad to produce a
conventional head hit sound.
Multi Piezo pad with position sensing:
With certain snare sounds, the sound changes
depending on how far from the rim you strike.
Head
Strike the head and the rim at once to produces a
rim shot sound.
Multi piezo pads with position sensing:
You can use normal rim shots or shallow rim
shots. Depending on the distance from the rim,
the rim shot sound changes slightly.
Single piezo 3-zone pads:
Strike the open rim.
Strike only the rim. Do not touch the head.
Multi piezo pads:
Press the button below "XSTICK" ([F2]) in the
KIT screen to switch between on (for playing the
cross-stick sound) or off (for playing the open rim
shot sound).
Closed rim
Single piezo 3-zone pads:
Strike the closed rim.
