Disposal of the unit

The unit is equipped with a built-in battery.
If necessary, remove and dispose of the battery as well.
Follow local regulations regarding battery disposal.

Warnings:
" Never disassemble the unit unless you dis-
pose of the built-in battery.
" Do not connect other batteries to the unit.
Explosion may result.
" Do not reinstall the removed battery.
" After disassembly, never use the unit and
the battery for any purposes.
! Removing the built-in battery

1 Turn off the unit.
2 Disconnect the AC adaptor and the USB cable.
3 Set the BATTERY switch to OFF.
4 Remove the 5 screws and open the cabinet.
5 Disconnect the connector from the unit.
6 Remove the battery.
The battery is attached to the back cabinet by adhe-

sive tape.
