System Board Assembly
This board contains several daughter cards, the CPU modules (2), the Memory SIMMs (16), and the
ON/OFF system status. It can be accessed and replaced from the system front. There is also a daughter
board that has the LCD for system status. The following is a detailed specification of this board:

Back Plane
This board interconnects I/O, the power supply, the system board and the peripheral assembly. It is

Peripheral Assembly
This assembly can be easily removed from the front of the chassis. It contains two removal drives and two
hard drives. It has two external connectors (FW,SE) for external–to–chassis connections. It connects to
the back plane through a daughter card in the bay. The following is a detailed specification of this section:

GSC/EISA Assembly
This section contains a sheet metal bay enabling users to install up to five I/O slots (4 EISA boards and up
to 3 GSC+ boards). It connects directly to the system board through a connector and has an EISA/GSC
