Temperature-controlled and air-humidity-controlled anti-condensation
heating (option L58)
Each cabinet is equipped with a heater with a thermostat and hygrostat. The heater is supplied
with voltage (110-250 VAC/VDC) via the infeed provided by the customer.

Brass cable entry for power and signal cables (option M36)
With this option, the cable entry is manufactured out of brass.

Separate installation (M49)
The maximum cable length between the open-loop control cabinet and the power unit of the
starting converter is 70 m. The cables to connect the starting converter with the excitation
equipment are not included in the scope of supply of the compact system. The DRIVE-CLiQ
connection is an exception. This is included in the scope of supply for the starting converter.

Low-noise fan (option M65)
Sound pressure is minimized compared to standard setup through the use of special fans.

The converter design corresponds to the requirements of the following classification societies.

• Lloyds Register of Shipping (LRS)
• Bureau Veritas (BV)
• American Bureau of Shipping (ABS)
• Chinese Classification Society (CCS)
The converter has the following supplementary equipment:
• Salt water resistant paint
• Strengthened mechanical cabinet design
• Handrail below the operator panel
• Mechanical cabinet door locking
• IP44 degree of protection
• Anti-condensation heating
The converter can be welded to the ship's hull plate
