How to Put in Detergent and Softener
Always use low suds detergent or the detergent designed for front loading washing machines.
Powdered detergent

Dissolve in water if it is
diffi cult to fl ow.
(Max.: approx. 100 ml)
• Do not put the softener
exceeding the guideline

Do not leave the softener in the softener compartment
for 12 hours or longer. (It easily becomes hard.)
Do not use a separated or solidifi ed softener.
(The softener or water may remain in the case.)

case due to its siphonic structure.
(This is not a malfunction.)

To prevent the detergent from remaining
Wipe the case if it is wet.
Break block of detergent before putting in.
Liquid
(detergent/bleach)
Do not use chlorine-based bleach when using the
timer reservation. (Leaving the appliance for a long
time may result in metal corrosion or malfunction.)
Do not use chlorine-based bleach for coloured
clothes. (Loss of colour may occur.)
Reduce the amount
of excessive foaming
detergent.
If a large amount of bubble occurs, water is
repeatedly supplied and drained to eliminate the
bubble, resulting in longer operation time. Also, the
bubble or water may overfl ow from the drain outlet or
dry fi lter.
Attention
If detergent or softener is attached to the main unit
(especially door, operation panel and touch panel),
immediately wipe it off with a wrung-out towel, etc.
(Peeling of print, damage to resin, metal corrosion or
malfunction may occur.)

In particular, if liquid concentrated detergent is
attached to the resin part, it may crack.
Note that if detergent, etc. is attached to the door
hinge part (metal part), metal corrosion may occur.
If you have forgotten putting in the detergent or
water is already in the drum, put the detergent in
the detergent case and fl ow with a cup of water.
(Because water to fl ow the detergent is not supplied)

 If water supply starts while putting in detergent
→Press
to pause. After putting in detergent, restart the operation.
Attention
Put in detergent, bleach and softener before supplying water. (They may remain if put in after supplying water.)
Guideline of amount used
Depending on the type of detergent, the amount of detergent and the size (spoonful or capful) of spoon or cap
diff er. Refer to the table below. (Use the spoon or cap that comes with the detergent.)

A drum type of washer uses small amount of water,
so the necessary amount of detergent is displayed
based on "Laundry amount" instead of "Water
amount".
The detergent amount is displayed based on the
spoon (70 g in full).

Reduce the amount of excessive foaming detergent.

Attention
If the powdered detergent is poorly soluble
→ Dissolve it in warm water (approx. 30 °C) and
directly put in the drum.
Put in the detergent little by little
while stirring to prevent it from
remaining in a powder state.
