Error Code [6607] Error Source Address = Outdoor Unit (OC)

1. Error code definition
No ACK error
2. Error definition and error detection method
The error is detected when no acknowledgement (ACK signal) is received after the transmission. (eg. When the data is trans-
mitted six times in a row with 30 seconds interval, the error is detected on the transmission side.)
The address/attribute appeared on the display on the remote controller indicates the controller which did not provide
the response (ACK).
3. Cause, check method and remedy
(1) Incidental cause
(2) Contact failure of transmission line of OC or IC
(3) Decrease of transmission line voltage/signal by exceed-
ing acceptable range of transmission wiring.
Farthest: 200 m [656ft] or less
Remote controller wiring:
10m [32ft] or less
(4) Erroneous sizing of transmission line (Not within the
range below).
Wire diameter:

(5) Outdoor unit control board failure

1) Check whether Error Code [Er91] is displayed on
the service LED on the outdoor unit.
2) If the code is not displayed, turn off the power to
the outdoor unit, and then turn it back on.
3) If the error is accidental, it will run normally. If not,
check the causes (2) - (5).
* Skip check item 1) on the outdoor unit whose
firmware does not need to be updated.
Check method and remedy
1) Turn off the power to the outdoor unit and the HBC,
leave them turned off for at least 5 minutes, and
then turn them back on.
2) If the error is accidental, it will run normally. If not,
check the causes (2) - (4).
