BODY COMPONENT REMOVAL

LOWER SEAT BASE

1. Lift up on the back of the seat to disengage the seat
pin from the rubber grommet.
2. With the seat sitting vertically, lift the seat up to
remove the seat tabs from the slots on the frame.

HOOD

1. Turn each 1/4 turn latch 90 degrees to unlock the
hood.
2. Lift up the hood between the locks and slide hood
forward to disengage the front of the hood from the

front fascia.

FRONT BUMPER

1. Remove the (2) fasteners (A) retaining the bottom of
the bumper to the frame.
2. Remove the (2) fasteners (B) retaining the top of the
bumper to the frame.
3. Carefully pull the bumper straight out to remove it
from the vehicle.
FRONT FASCIA
1. Remove the hood (see "Hood" removal).
2. Disconnect both front headlights at the bulbs (see
Chapter 10 "Headlight Bulb Replacement").
3. Remove the (2) T-40 Torx-head screws (C) retaining
the front fascia to the upper radiator brackets.
