6. Remove the two screws that secure the computer handle, and then remove the computer handle
as shown.

7. Insert the two tabs of the computer handle into the corresponding holes in the chassis, and then
pivot the computer handle as shown so that the two screw holes in the computer handle align with
the corresponding screw holes in the chassis.

8. Install the two screws to secure the computer handle.
9. Install the power button board. See "Replacing the power button board" on page 84.
10. Install the front bezel. See "Replacing the front bezel" on page 82.

Replacing the optical drive

Attention: Do not open your computer or attempt any repair before reading and understanding the Chapter
1 "Read this first: Important safety information" on page 1.
To replace the optical drive, do the following:
1. Remove any media from the drives and turn off all connected devices and the computer. Then,
disconnect all power cords from electrical outlets and disconnect all cables that are connected to the
computer.
2. Remove the computer cover. See "Removing the computer cover" on page 82.
