Possible cause
This is a reminder to
clean the fine filter in front
of the heat exchanger unit
under running water.
The fine filter is not in
place or has been
incorrectly fitted.
The programme will be
cancelled if the fine filter
is removed while the
machine is in operation:
Cooling down is flashing.
The programme has
finished but the laundry is
still cooling down.
There is no immediate
cause.
The dryer is in standby.
This is a normal function
and does not indicate a
fault.
The flashing indicates
that a programme can be
started.
Remedy
– Clean the fine filter.
– See chapter "Cleaning and
care".
– The indicator light goes out
once the fine filter has been
removed and refitted while
the dryer is switched on.
– Correctly fit the fine filter:
~F~ will go out.
– See chapter "Cleaning and
care".
– Fit the fine filter.
– Switch the dryer off and
then on again.
You can remove the laundry
and spread it out to allow the
heat to dissipate, or leave it in
the dryer to cool down more.
– Switch the dryer off and
then on again.
– Start a programme.
If the programme stops again
and Cooling down or Finish
flashes again, there is a fault.
Contact Miele.
See "Setting standby" in
"Programmable functions".
After the programme has
started, the flashing will
change to a constant light.
