I have a ASSA ABLOY HANDICAP DOOR OPENER 939D SW200i that opens on its own without pushing the handicap button and stays open. When i turn off the power the door will close. Is there someone who could assist me in trouble shooting the cause of this?

The ASSA ABLOY SW200i door opener could be opening on its own and staying open due to one or more of the following reasons:

1. HOLD Mode Active: If the control switch is set to HOLD, the door will remain permanently open.

2. OPEN/CLOSE Impulse: If an OPEN/CLOSE impulse was triggered and no new impulse is given, the door may remain open for up to 15 minutes or indefinitely if configured that way.

3. Sensor Activation: A sensor may be falsely detecting presence or receiving unintended impulses, causing the door to open and stay open.

4. Nurse and Bed Functionality: In certain configurations (e.g., Solution 2), the secondary door can stay open until the primary door closes. Misconfiguration might cause the door to stay open.

5. DIP Switch Settings: DIP switches may be set to allow the door to continue opening or staying open under certain conditions.

Check the control switch mode, impulse settings, sensor activity, and DIP switch configuration to identify and fix the issue.
