Timer indicator:
Power on, the timer indicator is "--" and the appliance is ready to work.
The remaining work duration will be indicated.
The timer indicator is "--" when the appliance is open.
The timer indicator is "E1" when there is an error with the dry
function.
The timer indicator is "E3" when there is an error with the disinfection
function.
If you experience an error message, do not attempt to fix anything
yourself, but contact our service center.
Operation caution
1. DO NOT USE THE DRY FUNCTION FOR ANY ELECTRONIC PROD-
UCTS. DOING SO CAN RESULT IN DAMAGE.
2. Remove excessive water of objects before they are loaded into
the UV-C appliance when using the dry and disinfect+dry function.
3. Keep the objects unfolded, uncovered and unstacked before they
are loaded into the UV-C appliance, to enable the maximum UV-C
light exposure of the surface. Surfaces must be directly exposed to
UV-C light in order to be disinfected.
4. The UV-C appliance should only be used in a stable upright position.
Objects with a concave shape with an open top like a bowl or cup,
should be placed in an upside position when loading into the UV-C
appliance and keep the open side uncovered.
5. The UV-C lamp is not replaceable. If your UV-C lamp stops work-

Unplug from outlet when not in use and before servicing.
2. Not a toy. Not intended for use by children under 12 years of age.
Close attention is necessary when used by or near children.
3. Use only as described in this user manual. Use only manufactur-
er's recommended attachments.
4. Do not use with damaged cord or plug. If UV-C appliance is not
working as it should, has been dropped, damaged, left outdoors, or
dropped into water, return it to a service center.
5. Do not pull or carry by cord, use cord as a handle, close a door on
cord, or pull cord around sharp edges or corners. Do not roll the cord
around the appliance when in use. Keep cord away from heated
surfaces.
6. Do not unplug by pulling on cord. To unplug, grasp the plug, not
the cord.
7. Do not handle plug or UV-C appliance with wet hands.
8. The cord is not replaceable.
9. Turn off all controls before unplugging.
10. Keep the UV-C appliance away from sources of fire.
11. Do not put flammable and explosive goods into the UV-C
appliance.
12. Do not dismantle the UV-C appliance.
13. The UV-C appliance is not designed and/or intended to be
used to disinfect medical devices or for medical purposes; Signify
excludes any and all liability for any such improper use.
14. After the dry and disinfect+dry routine, mind your hands when
you open the box due to the high temperature. Allow the box to cool
for several minutes prior to removing the object(s) placed inside.
Working mode button:
Press the working mode button for routine choice.
The light starts to flash when you press the button. You can choose
the working duration while the indicators are flashing 3 times.
Routine starts after the third flash.
Press the working mode button to cancel the routine.

6. Switch the power off before you clean the UV-C appliance, do not
use volatile detergent like alcohol or gasoline. Do not pour water
on/into the UV-C appliance. Just use a dry cloth to wipe the UV-C
appliance.
7. The disinfection effect is dependent on the time of exposure to
UV-C light.
8. Plants and/or materials that are exposed to UV-C for a long time
may become damaged and/or discolored

suitable for damp or wet locations.

16. WARNING: The top lid is provided with an interlock to reduce the
risk of excessive ultraviolet radiation. Do not defeat this purpose or
attempt to service without removing the top lid completely.
17. Supply the UV-C appliance only from a grounded system. A
green terminal (or a wire connector marked "G", "GR", "GROUND", OR
"GROUNDING") is provided for wiring the UV-C appliance. To reduce
the risk of electric shock, connect this terminal or connector to the
grounding terminal of the electric service or supply panel with a con-
tinuous copper wire in accordance with the electrical installation code.
18. This UV-C appliance has a polarized plug (one blade is wider
than the other). To reduce the risk of electric shock, this plug is in-
tended to fit in a polarized outlet only one way. If the plug does not
fit fully in the outlet, reverse the plug. If it still does not fit, contact a
qualified electrician. Do not modify the plug in any way.
19. Power supply instruction:
a) A short power-supply cord is provided to reduce the risks resulting
from becoming entangled in or tripping over a longer cord.
b) Extension cords are available and may be used if care is exercised
in their use.
c) If an extension cord is used:
1) The marked electrical rating of the extension cord should be at
least as great as the electrical rating of the UV-C appliance.
2) The longer cord should be arranged so that it will not drape over
the countertop or tabletop where it can be tripped over, snagged, or
pulled on unintentionally (especially by children).
