HOLD DOWN BRACKETS(OPTIONAL) - TIMBER VENETIANS BLINDS Hold-down brackets are used to keep the bottom of the blind from swaying when mounted on doors or exposed to the wind. The hold-down brackets are inside or outside mounted at the bottom of the window opening. With the blind fully lowered, place the hold-down brackets onto the pins on the end of the bottom rail and mark mounting hole locations.
