Step 2: Auto Install
To operate proceed as follows;

Plug the aerial lead into the VCR. Plug the aerial cable (supplied) from the VCR RF OUT into the TV
aerial input. Please refer to page 2.

Connect to main powersupply after completely

connectingall leads (as described on Step 1:
Connection).
The VCRwill be in standby modeat this stage and
the VCR display will show "--:- —".

Press OPERATEbutton.
"fuka " will appear in the VCR display.
At this stage, the VCR will start auto tuning, auto
channel mapping, auto clock setting, and auto RF
seek function, by which the most suitable channel
will be selected for RF OUTafter auto tuning is
completed.
During this time, if your set-up include scart
connector and the TVis set to scart input, the TV
screen will display as shown.

After this process is complete, the RF output

channel will appear in the VCR display.

For example, RF output channel 35.
Tune your TV as Step 3; item no.3.
Notes:
* If you press the OPERATEbutton inadvertently
before connecting all leads, follow the steps on
page 12 for further tuning function in instruction
manual.
« This auto install process needs to be engaged
only once.
* The settings will be stored in the VCR memory
even if the VCR is moved to anotherplace.
* If you do not press the PLAY/STILL button after
the auto install process is complete, the current
time will not appear in the VCR display.
* If" --:- -~01" appears in the VCR display mis-
operation of the Auto Install has occurred so go
to page 5 item1.
