Setting Up
This tells you how to connect your VCR to an aerial, TV,etc.
This tells you the location and the detailed functions of the
switches, buttons, VCR's display and connection terminals on
the VCR.
This also tells you how to insert batteries into the remote control
handset and how to operate your VCR remotely.
This tells you howto tuning all broadcasted channel and set the
clock, date and seek the best RF output channel automatically.
Your VCR gives a signal of the sametype as that used for TV
broadcasts. This signal is sent from the RF OUT socket via the
cable provided to your TV.
To seethis signal you must tune in one of the programme
numbersof your TV. This will then become your "VIDEO
PROGRAMME NUMBER", you must then select this each time
you wish to see the signal from your VCR.
If you connect your VCRto a TV with a 21-pin Scart connector,
set your TV to its proper video input to see the signal from the
VCR. (Consult your TV's manual for details.).
This VCR incorporates a complete TV tuner (just like your
normal TV) and can be pre-tunedto receive up to 49 TV
programmes.
The clock display area in the VCR's display panel will look like
"——:-—" until you set the 24-hour clock. The clock must be set to
the correct time before you can programme the VCR for timer
recording.

B. Setting the VCR's clock on the TV screen.
