Maintenance Guide
The Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS) is purchased based on your site requirement to
provide power and protect data and devices in case of a power failure.
If 110 V and 220 V power sockets are configured at the same time, they must be clearly
labeled at the edges of sockets.
The power socket location must be specified on the power distribution board for
reference in later inspection or system expansion.
On the raised floor, holes must be reserved for signal wires and electrical power cables.
In addition, a rubber pad must be placed at the brim of a hole to protect signal wires and
electrical power cables.
The places from which signal wires and electrical power cables are led to the host room
must be sealed to protect the places from dust and pests. If the operating room is adjacent
to the host room, a signal wire tube must be embedded in the wall between the two
rooms. You are advised to use a polyvinyl chloride (PVC) tube with a diameter of 6 cm
or more.
Air Conditioning, Lighting and Fire Fighting Facilities
To provide a clean environment, an independent rather than central air-conditioner
system is required for the host room.
The maintenance-free emergency lighting with storage batteries must be installed in the
host room and operating room.
Automatic fire alarm devices must be installed in the host room. Automatic sprinklers
cannot be used.
Fire extinguishing devices in the host room must apply to electrical and communication
devices. Common fire extinguishers such as sprinkler system are not recommended.
Device operators must regularly organize training on the use of firefighting equipment
and perform maintenance and inspection on the firefighting equipment.
Storage
The storage requirements for the parts that are not yet installed are as follows:
All devices must be properly packaged.
The operating temperature ranges from 15°C to 25°C, with a change rate of lower than
10°C in an hour.
The relative humidity ranges from 30% to 80%.
The air quality must meet the requirements listed in
Table 1-1 Parameters for air cleanness
