4-7. Understanding sport meter as Exposure Index assist in V-Log mode

Measuring video level and stop settings to achieve desired exposure, can be performed easily with
the Y GET (spot meter) function*.
Overview
The graph on the figure 4-1 shows the AG-CX350's V-Log gamma curve, the curve available since
firmware version 3.0 allows to capture images with wider gradations and latitude (grading process
is required after filming). It is designed to have the same characteristic as the original VARICAM's
(35 and LT) curve hense, LUTs developed for VARICAM series can also be used for the
AG-CX350's footage, please note that AG-CX350 exposure latitude is 13.5 stop while
VARICAM35/LT is 14+ stops.
