Steps
1. Remove the optical drive.
2. Remove the base cover.
3. Remove the I/O board.
4. Remove the hard drive.
5. Remove the battery.
6. Remove the memory modules.
7. Remove the wireless card.
8. Remove the system-board
9. Remove the heat-sink assembly.
10. Remove the display panel.

Procedure

Steps
1. Remove the screw that secures the power-button board to the palm rest and keyboard assembly.
2. Peel off the tape that secures the power-button board to the palm rest and keyboard assembly.
3. Remove the power-button board cable from the routing guides.
4. Lift the power-button board at an angle along with the cable off the palm rest and keyboard assembly.
