reventing water flow. If the flow lessens, or your coffee cup fills only partially, it's pos-
sible the needle is clogged. Use a paperclip to clean the piercing needle, as discussed
later in the manual. A periodic flush of the coffee maker washes loose grounds from
the capsule housing. Run the coffee maker empty, with no coffee capsules.
If the bottom door got distorted during shipping, it can be easily twisted back into
position, as the high grade stainless steel is flexible.

Please use ambient air temperatures between 41°F (5°C) and 104°F (35°C).
If unit is stored in an unheated location during winter to prevent freeze damage please
follow the following steps:
1. Ensure Water Suction Probe is not placed in any water.
2. Follow "Dispensing Coffee" procedure described on page 13 until water no longer
exits the unit.
3. Dispense using drain at the rear until water no longer exits the drain.

Preventing Damage from Calcium Scale:
Using reverse osmosis or distilled water prevents calcium scale
from forming. But if spring water is used, the internal valves
and hot tank can build calcium deposits over time. The descal-
ing section explains how to keep the waterways clean.
