Basic functions
Setting the display illumination
The display illumination can be programmed in 3 brightness levels. The following settings are possible
in the "Backlight" menu:
"Dim Level": Brightness of the display when the radio is switched on.
Choices: "High" / "Medium" / "Low"
"On Level": Brightness adjustment for operation and standby.
Choices: "High" / "Medium" / "Low"
"Timeout": Time until the display is adjusted to the lighting level in the "Dim setting".
Choices: "On / 10 sec / 20 sec / 30 sec / 45 sec / 60 sec / 90 sec / 120 sec / 180 sec"
"On" means that the radio always remains in the brightness level of the"On setting".
For adjustment, please proceed as follows:
1. Turn on the device and select the source USB.
2. Press the "MENU" button, using the uII select the "System" menu.
3. Use the buttons

to select the menu "Backlight" and confirm.
4. Select the functions in the individual menus "On Level" / "Dim Level" / "Timeout" and
confirm with the uII button.
Setting the sleep timer
The sleep timer is used to automatically turn off the device after a preset period of time. For adjust-
ment, please proceed as follows:
1. Turn on the radio and select the source USB.
2. Press the "MENU", using uII select the"System" menu and confirm with the uII button.
3. Using the buttons

select the menu "Sleep" and confirm.
4. In the following menu, select the desired length of the runtime. Confirm with the uII button.
5. The display shows "SL" in the middle line on the left to indicate an active sleep timer. If you would
like to deactivate the sleep timer, please select the time setting "Off".
Setting the time
When receiving a DAB + or FM station in sufficient quality, the clock will be set automatically. De-
pending on the reception strength, this process may take some time. If no corresponding station is
available, you can also set the time manually:
1. Turn on the radio and select the source USB.
2. Press the"MENU" button, use the uII button to select the "System" and press this
button once again. Alternatively, you can use the "CLOCK" button on the remote control.

to select the"Time" and use the play/pause button to confirm.
4. Select "Set Time/Date" and confirm. Then select, set and confirm hours, minutes, day, month
and year.
