Remote control Unit

The keys on the remote control unit w ith the same names as
on the main unit have the same function as the keys on the
main unit.

1 RDS-related keys (Except for the RC-701)
TA/ NEWS/ INFO. key
Used for automatic reception of transmissions of a certain content.
RDS DISP. key
The display contents are sw itched during reception of RDS broad-
casts.
PTY key
This is used to specify the program type w hen searching for a station.

Used to recall a preset radio station.
During CD playback, press to skip CD tracks.

This is used to mute the sound temporarily.

Used to sw itch the function of the M ULTI CONTROL keys.
The function items that can be selected w ith the M ULTI CONTROL
keys are variable depending on the current operation status.
Items such as CD PGM , DUBBING, SOUND, DISPLAY, TIM ER and
M ODE are selected using keys ) .
( CD play/ pause (6) key

The left and right keys have the same functions as the M ULTI
CONTROL jog dial on the amplifier/tuner unit.
The top and bottom keys are used to adjust the volume.
