Scenario II: Separated Installation Scenario
NOTE

For requirements on the GPS antenna position, see Appendixes 2.
This document describes how to connect the ATN ATOM GPS to the GPS.
Install the dual-female conversion adapter on
the Protect interface of the lightning protection
component.

Implement 1+3+3 waterproof protection for
the coaxial-cable-and-lightning-protection-
component joint. Use one cable tie on each
end of the tape to secure the adhesive tape.

Install the lightning protection component on the
ground bar on the right of the device and use
screws to secure it.

Connect one end of the coaxial cable to the

Install the lightning protection component.
Secure the nut on the Surge interface of the
lightning protection component.
Use a lightning-proof ground cable to
connect the GND interface of the lightning
protection component and the ground bar.
NOTE
Use OT M8 terminals as the lightning
protection component terminals.
