To repair the power supply for a Bose Wave Radio, particularly if experiencing the "Please Wait" error, follow these steps:

1. Identify the Model: Ensure you are working on the correct model, such as the Bose Wave Radio AWRCC1.

2. Disassemble the Unit:
- Remove five Phillips head screws from the bottom.
- Carefully separate the top and bottom sections.

3. Replace the Capacitors:
- Locate the main board.
- Replace all electrolytic capacitors, including smaller ones like the 0.47 microfarad capacitors near the power transistor.

4. Reassemble the Unit:
- Secure all components back in place.
- Reattach the casing and screws.

5. Test the Radio: Power it on to check if the issue is resolved.

These steps should restore functionality by addressing faulty capacitors in the power supply.

Press the "On/Off (Stop Alarm)" button to stop a sounding alarm and reset it for the next day. Alternatively, press "Alarm On/Off" to turn the alarm off completely. The alarm is off when the alarm time is not visible in the upper right-hand corner of the display.

No, the Bose Wave Radio cannot be operated without the remote control. The unit does not have manual controls for basic functions like power and volume, making the remote essential for operation.

I want to stop my alarm from going on. It beeps and I don't want any beep, period. How do I ensure that the alarm is of and will sound no more. It was inadvertantly started in the first place.

To turn off the alarm on your Bose Wave Radio and stop it from beeping, press the ON/OFF button once. This stops the alarm, but the alarm indicators stay lit, meaning the alarm is set to repeat the next day.
