Disconnect in grommet -2- the horizontal plug
connection -1- at pillar B.
For vehicles ® 12.99

Remove cap and unscrew grub screw -1-
from upper hinge.
For vehicles 01.00 ®

Unscrew nut -2-.
For all vehicles

Unscrew bottom screw -3- from door.

Lift door up and out of the hinge brackets.
Installing
The installation is carried out in the reverse or-
der.
Note:
♦ When replacing the doors after the paintwork,
screws -1- and -2- must be tightened to the
specified torque.
♦ The process for the rear door is identical for
the Octavia Estate.

Door adjustment
♦ To correctly adjust the door, the door hinges
must be loosened on the pillar and door.
Other adjusting measures, e.g. aligning the
doors towards the top are ineffective. The
door will drop again at the following over-
pressures.
♦ Doors are correctly adjusted if, when closed,
they are at an equal distance from the frame
all round, are not positioned too far to the insi-
de or outside and the contours are aligned.
